I recently emailed Bandai UK to see if they would be releasing the Gold Legacy Morpher in any shape or form here in the UK. I knew it was a long shot but sadly they do not currently plan to release it. Maybe us UK fans can get a petition together?

Me: “I was wondering whether you planned to release the Gold Legacy Morpher that was available as a limited item at a convention in the USA? There is a high demand amongst the fandom and it would be a real shame if it were not released in the UK or Europe.”

Bandai UK: “Thank you for your enquiry below, at present we have no plans to release the Gold Legacy Morhper.”

As mentioned in my previous Power Rangers R.P.M post, I managed to find the Power Rangers R.P.M. Full Throttle figures on ebay for a reasonable price. I received my Green Shark Ranger today and I just need to find the Gold Ranger now as I won’t be bothering with the Dinosaur inspired figures in this toy line as they were not featured in the show.

Now I own a few more of the male ranger figures from this line, I still stand by the comments I made in my first R.P.M. post about the strange angle on their heads / necks. All of the male rangers appear to be looking down at the floor which looks fine in the poses they have whilst in their packaging but quite odd in my display with figures from other seasons. The female ranger figures have a slight ball joint to the neck and it would have been much better if they included this feature on the male figures too.

I was lucky enough to find another Power Rangers Time Force figure on eBay at a very cheap price to add to the Blue and Red Ranger figures I already have. Was not sure if I would ever get close to completing the Power Rangers Time Force team when I bought the Red Ranger a few years ago as they are either scarce or expensive. But this month I have managed to find the Blue, Green and Quantum Rangers MOC on eBay at some pretty good prices considering their age. Just need to find the girls now!

I was also very pleased to find that the batteries / light up feature was still working on both the Blue and the Green Ranger figures I have bought this month. Quantum ranger is on its way!

I’m still way behind on my figure collection. Only ranger teams I have completed so far are my MMPR Auto Morphin Figures, MMPR Ninja Rangers, Ninja Storm and Dino Thunger. I have a few odd figures from each season but I’m working on eventually completing them all. Zeo up to Wild Force is going to cost me dearly as I insist on only buying MOC toys so I figured I may as well try to complete some of the newer seasons first, as they are cheaper and easier to find.

Anyway, I received my Power Rangers Mystic Force – Mystic Light Yellow and Green Ranger Figures today. I got a really good deal on these from eBay. All I need now are the Girls and Koragg The Knight Wolf to complete this season, I may get Jenji too. The girls are a little more expensive though.

As with many of the Bandai America Power Rangers Figures I have, occasionally you get a figure with a slightly dodgy paint job. The Yellow Ranger has a few paint smudges on the right shoulder and helmet but it’s minimal. I’m also a little disappointed that they didn’t paint the knees of these figures. The black stripes on the legs should run all the way down to the top of the boots as with the costumes in the show but it seems to have a gap where the knees are on these figures.

As Bandai did not release a Solaris Knight Figure for this line (aside from non show accurate battlizer type figures) I got the Japanese MagiShine with Skyarpet Set which came with a great Solaris Knight figure that is only a few millimeters shorter than the Mystic Light Figures.

Received the first of my Mighty Morphin Power Rangers 2010 figures today:

I must say I really like these figures! I knew they were smaller sized figures than the usual 5.5″ and I was shocked to see just how small they are in person. However, as someone with a large collection but a small room, I actually quite like the smaller size.

I bought them to display on top of my Morpher Display Case that I bought last month and the smaller size of these figures will help to not take the focus away from the main part of the display which is the Morphers.

The paint details on this figure are very well done. However, whilst looking at pictures of the other figures on various forums, I noticed that they missed some red paint on the Green Ranger’s morpher but the others seem to have it. They have included the gold cuffs and correct green triangle shapes on Green Ranger’s gloves and boots (many other Green Power Ranger figures have diamonds, which is not show accurate). The dragon shield looks a little big and it covers where the two outer white diamonds of his suit would normally show through. But overall, the attention to detail for this figure is very good.

Looking forward to getting the rest of the set. I’m going to get Lord Zedd, Goldar and some Putties too. I really hope they release the White Ranger Figure for this line too! Sadly, I don’t think these (like many special edition toys) will be released in the UK so they will not be cheap to import from the US.
